What are Climate Friends Circles?

Climate Friends Circles are live gatherings facilitated by trained Climate Friends community members.

In Circle, a facilitator guides participants through structured group discussion, giving each person an opportunity to share their story as it relates to climate change (which often changes over time).

We listen actively, we hear and feel what others share, and we empathize when we can. We don't try to solve problems or answer questions — our own or those of others.

A Circle requires every participant's presence and intention to co-create a container that will securely hold what we share during our time together.

Circles gather monthly and are limited in size, to create a vibe that's conducive to openness and vulnerability.

Circles are not therapy or a replacement for therapy. Facilitators are not trained as mental health professionals.
